Some heroes don’t wear capes…

They quietly send deliveries with bags full of love and kindness.
 
This morning, our mysterious (and very much appreciated!) anonymous donor struck again, blessing us with nine bags packed to the brim with bread, fresh fruit, veggies, tinned goodies, tea, and biscuits.
 
No sooner had we unpacked the groceries…Yet another delivery, this time with gowns and slippers for All our patient and extras.
 
To our secret giver: whoever you are, please know that your generosity ripples far beyond what you see. You’re filling more than just shelves, you’re filling hearts, bringing comfort, and reminding us all that goodness still shows up in the most beautiful, unexpected ways.
We are so incredibly blessed at the centre, and so very grateful. Thank you, you make a real difference every single time!

Your prayers, love, and kindness wrapped around each person like the warmest hug and those yummy treats were the cherry on top!

What a blessing it is when Enid, Chairperson of Thornhill Manor Retirement Village Chapel Committee, comes to visit. She always arrives like a burst of sunshine, arms full of goodies, heart full of love, and bringing smiles that light up the whole place.

Feeling all the warm fuzziness! Our amazing patients were treated to their very own personal barber experience yes, a proper snip and style right here at the Edenvale Care Centre Hospice.
 
Huge, heartfelt thanks to the wonderful Penny from HAIR TIME 4 MEN for bringing not just her scissors, but her kindness, love and magic touch.

A surprise delivery from Meals on Wheels Community Services South Africa this morning in the glorious rain thank you Yanela Takawira for blessing us with soooooooo much.

And thanks to Lucy and Veli who stood in the rain, while I was all fingers and thumbs taking pics. We truly appreciate your kindness, love and all the very special work you guys do!
