Palliative Care
24-hour in-patient palliative care for patients in the
terminal stages of cancer, chronic diseases and HIV/AIDS.
Counselling
Counselling is provided for patients and their families by our nursing staff and 4 chaplains.
Therapy dogs visit us once a month to spread some joy and comfort!
Student Supervision
Nursing and caregiving students from various institutions are placed to complete their practical hours, receiving quality instruction and expertise.

Accessible and Caring Environment
Edenvale Care Centre Hospice has a 13-bed ward situated in the
business district of Edenvale and therefore is in excellent
proximity to transport facilities, motorways and is a 10- minute
drive from OR Tambo International airport.
Solar Power
Our hospice is fully powered by solar energy with a reliable backup
system, ensuring uninterrupted operation of all essential services
and medical equipment. Experience the peace of mind that comes

Since opening our doors in 2002, our hospice has provided compassionate palliative care to over 1,400 patients.
